445. Walking In The Spirit: A Journey Into Heavenly Realms

Walking in the Spirit (Condensed summary)

Walking in the Spirit is not just being guided by the Holy Spirit or having spiritual moments. It is about living from the spiritual realm, with our spirit active in heaven even as we are present on earth. John’s vision in Revelation was not metaphorical; he really entered a different dimension. It is to live in oneness—spirit, soul and body aligned and flowing with God.

Galatians 5 is about maturity, not inner conflict. The ‘flesh’ is not our body, but our soul acting in independence. As we surrender and align with God’s Spirit, love, joy and peace naturally flow. This comes about through relationship and union—not effort or rules.

Union with Christ means our soul letting go of that independence. It is not denying ourselves in a negative sense, but surrendering our need for control. Real change comes from trusting in how God sees us and allowing Him to reshape our thinking (that is real metanoia or ‘repentance’). Surrender is not a one-off event: the more we get to know Him, the more we are called to let go and trust.

My own deeper surrender came in 2011-12, when I finally gave up the need to understand everything and simply trusted God. That changed everything, and I became whole in a way I had never known before.

Immortality

As for immortality—I have friends who have died despite believing in it. I do not pretend to know why. But I still trust God’s goodness. Their deaths have not shaken my faith, because immortality is not just a question of belief but of living in divine life now, not pushing it into the future.

A diagnosis of Ménière’s disease (vertigo, deafness and medication with grim side effects) forced me to go deeper with God. I came to realise healing was in the atonement. That led first to healing, then living in health, and eventually a shift towards living from immortality—Jesus’ life sustaining mine through communion (as a way of being, not a ritual). Communion is living in constant co-union.

This is not just theory for me—it is my lived experience. It has taken decades to grasp, and is still unfolding. Not everyone will get it straight away, but I hope it will not take too long. The restoration of all things is ongoing: let us keep trusting in God’s life and goodness.

Of course, Jesus is the way we come to the Father. But He is a door… He said, “I am the door,” and He’s introducing us into a relationship with the Father. I do engage with Jesus at times—sometimes as the Truth—when I feel led to connect with Him in that way. But the bottom line is, we are sons, and a relationship with the Father is absolutely vital. I don’t believe for a moment that if you don’t consciously talk about Jesus, or think, “I must go through Jesus to have a relationship with the Father,” you’ll somehow open the door to the demonic. That’s not how it works.

At the end of the day, demons cannot take control of our lives. We have the Holy Spirit within us—the presence of God living in us. Unless someone deliberately chooses to give access to an external force, by surrendering or submitting to it, a demon cannot simply take over. You’re not going to be overrun just because you didn’t say the name of Jesus. That’s not how it works.

Your relationship with the Father is exactly what Jesus wants you to have. He’s not jealous or overly protective about His name. What He wants is that relationship. And actually, when you have a relationship with the Father, you’re also in relationship with Jesus and with the Spirit. They are one. They exist in perichoresis—a divine dance of mutual indwelling. So if you’re talking to the Father, Jesus is fully aware of the conversation. It’s not like you’re excluding Him or shutting Him out. You’re not.

I think sometimes people come under a kind of religious bondage, and I believe God wants to set us free from that. Intuitively, I think many people know what’s right in their own walk with God. If you’re experiencing and enjoying that relationship, you don’t need religious rules saying, “You must do this,” or “You must say that.” When people start saying things like “demons disguise themselves” or “if you don’t say Jesus’s name, you could be deceived,” it brings confusion and fear, which is not from God.

Just to clarify—demons are not fallen angels. They are disembodied souls, roaming the earth, looking for someone to express through. Angelic beings and fallen angelic beings exist, yes, but they’re not the same as demons. And actually, it’s very easy to discern which is which when you’re in relationship with God. That relationship gives you the discernment to recognise love, and love is the plumb line by which you measure everything. If something carries the frequency of love, it’s not demonic or fallen. You learn to recognise what God is using, who He is communicating through, and who He is Himself, by experiencing His love.

So I’d just say—lay all that other stuff down. Don’t get confused. Go with what’s in your own heart. Loving God, feeling His love in you, and expressing that—that’s what matters. In my Patreon teaching this month, I talked about what Jesus said: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” That doesn’t mean law or obligation. It means desire. His one desire is that we would be loved and empowered to love others in the same way. That’s the essence of it.

He wants us to be who He created us to be and to express that in love to others. It’s not about demanding obedience—it’s about desire and relationship. The word “commandment” has a goal built into it—entole, which means that in the end, there’s a result. And the result is this: “Let me love you, and you’ll be empowered to love others.” That’s what Jesus is really looking for.

In our relationship with the Father, He empowers us to love, because He’s loving us as sons—or daughters, if you prefer. There’s no gender in this—it’s not about physical identity, but about our position in God’s heart and government. So again, it’s not that Jesus has to be the focus in the sense that you must always say His name or fix your thoughts only on Him. He is the way we’ve come to engage the Father. The Father revealed Himself in us through Jesus, but Jesus doesn’t need to be approached legalistically. They are all one. There’s no jealousy or competition within the Godhead.

Ultimately, love and experiencing love is the primary thing. If someone says that’s not enough unless you explicitly follow Jesus, I’d say that following Jesus is following the way of love—true love, not how the world defines it. Some people might have a relationship with God but not yet know it came through Jesus. But He’s not worried about that. They’ll know in time. The truth will be revealed, and they’ll come to see it.

So don’t get caught up in arguments or pressures that bring confusion and discomfort. If someone’s pushing a particular view that doesn’t sit well with you, don’t follow it. Go with your heart. If what you’re experiencing is love, then it’s safe. The devil cannot deceive us when we’re grounded in truth—and Jesus is the Truth. But He wants us to know truth not just intellectually, but experientially—through love. Love is truth.

You’re not wasting your life by having this wonderful relationship with the Father. The angelic realm is there to help. We each have guardian angels assigned to us. They’re not going to deceive you. And you don’t need to live in fear of deception when you’re in relationship with God, grounded in truth and love.

Love is the primary way truth is revealed. So enjoy it. Rest in that love. Anything that pulls you out of love’s rest and into fear, anxiety or worry isn’t coming from God. Perfect love casts out fear.

And yes—your relationship with the Father and the Holy Spirit is enough. Through that relationship, you are also connected with Jesus. You don’t need to separate them out in your mind. They are in perichoresis, in union. So when you engage with the Father, you’re engaging with Jesus as well, one way or another.

Changing your state of consciousness is less about actively doing something and more about entering into the reality that already exists. It’s coming into agreement with the truth of who you are as a son or daughter of God and embracing your identity in Him. This means realising that you live in an interactive relationship with God, where He is in you, and you are in Him – abiding in His presence as He abides in you. Connecting relationally with that truth changes your state of consciousness and your state of mind.

I would say this change begins with peace, a place of rest where you accept the reality of who you are in God – that you are forgiven, made righteous, justified, accepted and included. These truths bring you into a state of love, joy and peace. You are loved unconditionally, filled with joy, and live in gratitude for the life you have. You find peace that surpasses understanding. Jesus said, “My joy is in you so your joy can be full; love one another as I have loved you.” He left us His peace – not as the world gives, but a deeper peace of being loved, accepted and brought into a relationship with the Father.

This awareness shifts your consciousness from a focus on doing to a focus on being.

In this state of being, I live in unconditional love, grace and mercy. That is the state I live in. I am in rest; I don’t strive or struggle. I simply enjoy. A key to this shift in consciousness is understanding that you don’t have to do anything to maintain your relationship with God – it is freely given by His grace and love. You don’t earn it, work for it or need to do anything to sustain it. Instead, you enjoy it. You enjoy being loved, the joy of relationship with God, and a state of peace, free from duty, obligation or fear.

This means you can enjoy each day, knowing He is with you, and you are with Him. You don’t have to try to connect with God because He is already in you. Communication becomes continuous, as you are constantly face-to-face with Him in the light of His presence. He is connected to the core of your being, so you live in a state of oneness with Him. “Whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” This oneness becomes a background awareness of His presence and your presence in Him, allowing you to live in love, joy and peace.

Communication with God becomes more of an inner knowing, where He shares His heart with you, filling you with peace. You are inspired by His intentions, which brings a sense of authority into your everyday life. Resting in Him means that you don’t approach Him with an agenda. You don’t seek to encounter or communicate with Him for specific goals; instead, you simply want to know His heart and walk in fellowship, intimacy and relationship with Him. As you rest in this relationship, He begins to reshape your understanding of yourself and your connection to Him, naturally transforming your consciousness into a state of rest.

From this place, communication with God becomes instinctive, an inner knowing of His heart. Yes, you may talk with Him, and He with you, but it becomes more about sharing hearts and living out of a state of union and oneness. As you do this, everything you are doing in the realms of Heaven connects with what you are doing here on earth, creating a seamless flow between both realms. You live in a state of peace and rest, enjoying life more fully, as life is meant to be enjoyed.

Living in intimacy with God, knowing that He is your Father who loves you, fills you with a sense of peace and purpose. In that state of love, He desires the best for you and wants you to live out that relationship daily, grounded in love, joy, peace and rest.

372. Unity, Union and Oneness

Levels of Understanding: From Unity to Oneness

There are various levels of understanding and experience that take us deeper into what it means to be in unity, union, and ultimately, oneness with God. In earlier teachings, unity was often understood in terms of shared beliefs. If people agreed on doctrines or beliefs, they were considered to be in unity. However, this kind of unity was superficial because it excluded others who did not share the same beliefs. In reality, true unity has little to do with agreement on beliefs.

Unity Based on Beliefs vs. True Union

Union, on the other hand, is about a deeper relational connection. It’s similar to the union between husband and wife, where two people come together in an intimate relationship that goes beyond mere agreement. Union is more about connection and relational closeness than about aligning beliefs. It involves a joining together at a deeper level, reflecting a more intimate connection than unity of the mind or beliefs alone.

However, there is an even deeper level: **oneness**. When we enter oneness, there is no separation between us and God. This doesn’t mean we become God, but we become one with Him in spirit. In this state of oneness, we have access to His heart, His mind, and there is a profound connection that transcends separation. While we remain distinct, oneness allows us to experience God’s presence and intimacy in a way that feels inseparable.

Union and Oneness: A Personal Journey

My personal journey involved discovering what it means to be in oneness with God. It was not just a theological understanding but an experiential one. The feeling of oneness was different from the experience of union, where intimacy was deep, but there was still a sense of individuality. In oneness, I felt an abiding presence in God that made it impossible to feel separate from Him. It became clear that this relationship was not about doing or achieving, but about realizing and experiencing what was always true—that I am made in His image and likeness, and that this reality transcends any works or protocols.

We are all on a journey to discover who we truly are as sons and daughters of God. Being made in His image and likeness means more than we often understand. It means that our very essence reflects His original intention for us. As we go deeper into this relationship, our DNA is transformed, and we are restored to God’s original purpose.

Experiencing Truth Beyond Protocols

In the past, much of the spiritual journey was about protocols—if you do this or that, you would get closer to God. There were steps to follow: salvation, baptism, receiving the Spirit, and so on, which often felt like climbing a ladder. However, the deeper understanding is that we don’t need to earn or work for these experiences. The truth has always been there; we just need to have it revealed to us. Once it is unveiled, we come into agreement with it, realizing that God has always seen us this way.

Evangelical Christianity has often taught that God’s view of humanity changed after the Fall, but in reality, **God never changed His view of us**—we changed our view of ourselves. His thoughts towards us have always been rooted in love and truth, and He is revealing this so we can see ourselves as He does.

Agreeing with God’s Reality

This process of revelation is about agreeing with God’s perspective. It’s not about reconciling our limited human thinking with God’s, but about transforming our thinking to align with His. This transformation is key to entering into the reality of who we truly are. It’s not about doing works or following steps to ascend spiritually. Instead, it’s about embracing the truth that has always been there and allowing it to transform us.

Ultimately, this journey is about living in a relational reality with God that unveils the depth of who we are. It’s not about striving or achieving through works but about receiving the revelation of our identity in God and living in agreement with that truth.

356. Soul Healing: Embracing Wholeness with God

Becoming one with God involves the surrender of the soul’s control and its tendency to dictate our lives. The soul has been crucial in protecting us and shaping our self-awareness, but it often carries unresolved issues and unmet needs, leading to a fractured identity. When the spirit awakens and begins to reveal our true identity in God, the soul may resist this change, trying to keep us safe behind protective walls that can become prisons.

To heal, we must trust God enough to let go of control, allowing Him to separate and then reintegrate our soul and spirit from within. This journey involves engaging with God, recognising how our personality and experiences shape us. Many operate mainly from the soul, influenced by upbringing rather than intimacy with God.

Through my own experiences, I learned that God desires to meet our needs and provide love and acceptance, allowing us to love ourselves. I spent time resting in God, allowing Him to restore my soul. Once He separated and properly reintegrated my soul and spirit, my spirit could remain connected to heaven while my soul functions on earth. This integration fosters a continuous flow of revelation knowledge and understanding, and enables me to engage with both realms effortlessly.

Ultimately, union with God requires harmony between our spirit, soul and body. This relationship is not just theoretical; it’s meant to be experiential. By developing a relational trust in God, we can experience His presence and love fully, allowing our spirit, soul and body to work together as He designed us.

338. A Glorious Entanglement

We are in a love awakening, a grace awakening, a joy awakening, a peace awakening, a true God awakening. The world is beginning to awaken, not necessarily the church, but the world – and those within the church who are open to pursuing something deep inside that’s calling them. I encourage everyone to embrace these awakenings and not hold back.

Restoring First Love

In this new series, I’ll share the journey that led to my restoration of my first love relationship with the Father, enabling me to discover my identity as a Son of God. Some struggle with being called a son or a bride, but in God’s eyes, we’re all sons. Gender doesn’t matter here; it’s about our identity and relationship with God. Our identity is rooted in our origin in God, discovered through first love. Sonship is about identity, relationship, and authority as co-heirs with Jesus.

Quotes

I’ve found some quotes to share. Don Keathley of the Grace Awakening Network says, “Not one single person on the planet is in Adam. If you’re in Adam, then Jesus was not the last Adam. We are new creations in Jesus.” We need to renew our minds to this truth. Jesus came to give us the doorway into full union with the Father now, in this world.

Luke Agee says, “Revelations are actually memories from your spirit that you forgot you knew, entering from your heart into your soul and mind.” Discovering our origin in first love can restore these memories, revealing who we were before and our full identity.

A Glorious Entanglement

Titus 1:2 in the Mirror Bible says, “This is the life of the ages, anticipated for generations.” All prophetic expectation was looking forward to our original design, which was in God’s heart before time and space existed. God’s desire for union and relationship with us inspired creation.

Galatians 2:20 in the Mirror Bible says, “Here I am, dead and alive at the same time. I’m dead to the old me I was trying to be, and alive to the real me, which is Christ in me.” This signifies our union with God. We’re co-crucified and now co-alive, in a glorious entanglement with Him. This union allows us to live freely, being our true selves immersed in His faith.

Living from Union

Our new nature is now a divine union. Jesus is resetting us from unbelief to knowing with certainty, so we can believe and experience everything He says. Let’s realign our internal world to this truth, trusting in Jesus’ every word spoken to us and living from the strength of our union with Him.

Activation: Be Entwined in Love’s Embrace

God wants us to experience rest, to abandon our soul into His unconditional love. Close your eyes and think about living loved. Breathe deeply, feeling His love flow through you.

Picture the door of first love within your spirit and open it. Welcome the presence of the Father, Son, and Spirit. Embrace the union and intimacy with them, and let their love surround you.

God calls us to step out of the boat of independence and sink into the ocean of love, joy, and peace. He calls forth our true identity as sons and co-heirs, inviting us to rest in His love, joy, and peace.

Stay in this place of rest and let it be a constant in your life.
