406. Recognise the Finished Work of Jesus

The Bible was

At that time, the Bible was still the living Word of God for me—not Jesus. I saw the Bible as the Word that washed me, not Jesus. I relied on the Bible to separate my soul and spirit, rather than allowing Jesus to do it. I used the Bible as a mirror to see myself, rather than looking to Jesus or the Father.

Jesus, mediator of a New Covenant

During this process, I was presenting myself in the heavenly tabernacle as a living sahttps://freedomarc.blog/2014/01/21/present-a-living-sacrifice-3-practice/crifice, prepared by me, acting as my own high priest. Now, that might sound bizarre, but when I first received this revelation and began engaging in the heavenly tabernacle, this is what I thought I was doing.

I approached the laver—a basin used for washing—which I understood to have a bronze, mirror-like surface. I used it as a mirror to wash myself through the Bible, performing the role of my own high priest. I consumed the showbread as biblical food, again as my own high priest. I sought wisdom from the light of the menorah, the Bible, instead of Jesus. I engaged the altar, refining myself through the Bible, all the while acting as my own high priest.

In truth, all of this was a self-reliant, religious duty—a “do-it-yourself” form of faith. The reality, as I later came to understand, is that I am not my own high priest—Jesus is. Hebrews 6:20 makes it clear: “Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.” Jesus is the mediator of the New Covenant, not me. I made no covenant with God—Jesus did.

Deeply ingrained religious mindsets

My deconstruction was revealing God’s grace and the finished work of Jesus, and that was challenging my old covenant thinking. My “do-it-yourself” religious mindset had trapped me and severely limited my ability to truly know God and my original, authentic self.

Now, that might sound really odd to you, and you may never have approached things in this way. I would certainly encourage you not to. However, it shows how deeply ingrained these mindsets can be, distorting our view of God and His work. Only when those limitations and restrictions were removed could I begin to discover my true origin, identity and destiny as a son of God. It was then I began to see how powerful the finished work of Jesus truly is.

Jesus accomplished everything on our behalf so we don’t need to rely on our own efforts. He died for me, and as me, so I died. He was resurrected for me, so I was resurrected. He ascended for me and I ascended. Jesus established the New Covenant for me and included me in it. He is my high priest, he is my mediator—I don’t have to do it myself. Jesus did everything necessary to restore the whole cosmos, reconciling everyone, corporately. We are not required to achieve this individually in our own strength. He has accomplished it on behalf of all mankind; he took away the sin of the entire cosmos.

Renewing the mind

We may need to transition into a renewed mindset because most of us have likely been programmed by some form of works-based mentality. Even if it wasn’t specifically religious works, cultural influences can drive us to succeed and build our identity around what we achieve. Transitioning from an old to a new mindset requires a deep deconstruction—a process of renewing the mind. it is a process, that is the key.

It’s a process that God orchestrates and that he leads us through. It is relational, and through this relationship, our thinking about God—and everything else—begins to change. Old restrictive doctrines and theological mindsets need to be replaced by a relational lifestyle of face-to-face innocence with God. This is the amazing truth of the relationship He has invited us into.

No need to fear deception

Through this, we can learn to trust our Father to father us without fear of deception. Personally, I struggled with a deep fear of “getting it wrong.” This fear was instilled in me through the belief that everything had to be done strictly “by the Bible,” as the Bible was my sole source of security against error and deception.

The reality, however, is that every Christian sect or cult uses the Bible in some way, so relying on it alone for safety didn’t truly protect me from deception. I believed the Bible was God’s Word: all of it was infallible, inspired, and entirely inerrant, and I thought that following it would keep me safe. But whose version was I following? Whose interpretation of the Bible was I basing my life on?

These questions were hard to face because I had been conditioned to think otherwise. In truth, that belief system itself was the deception that was keeping me religiously bound in fear, unable to move beyond the Bible. I was afraid that if I went beyond its pages, I’d fall into some weird error or be led astray. This is a fear shared by many people I have spoken to: their families and friends often worry that they are going off into some error or cult-like movement, because they are no longer going to church or no longer reading their Bible in the same way they once did.

But the fear of deception is itself a powerful form of deception that keeps us locked up. We don’t need to live in fear of deception, because we have the Holy Spirit of Truth within us, guiding us. Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life, is also in us and with us, discipling us. Our loving Father is within us, fathering us into our true identity as sons and daughters. And if we measure everything against agape love, we won’t stray far. Love is the ultimate standard, and if we root everything in love, we can trust the process.

Close your eyes,
Slow down your thinking,
Rest—rest in love.
As you are breathing in,
And breathing out,
The very breath of God.

And as you rest in love,
Let the unconditional love of God

Ask the Father to reveal:
“Are there any Old Covenant mindsets,
Any Old Covenant belief systems,
Still operating?
Is there any mixture of covenants
In your heart?

Open up your heart to listen
That the Father could show you.

And if there is anything
That’s a mixture of covenants
In your experience
Just hand it over to him.

Take off those old covenant mindsets
And clothes, if you like,
And hand them over to the Father.

And let Him clothe you
In robes of righteousness,
Let Him clothe you
In new covenant grace,
In mercy,
In unconditional love.

380. Transform Your Consciousness by Embracing the State of Love

Changing your state of consciousness is less about actively doing something and more about entering into the reality that already exists. It’s coming into agreement with the truth of who you are as a son or daughter of God and embracing your identity in Him. This means realising that you live in an interactive relationship with God, where He is in you, and you are in Him – abiding in His presence as He abides in you. Connecting relationally with that truth changes your state of consciousness and your state of mind.

I would say this change begins with peace, a place of rest where you accept the reality of who you are in God – that you are forgiven, made righteous, justified, accepted and included. These truths bring you into a state of love, joy and peace. You are loved unconditionally, filled with joy, and live in gratitude for the life you have. You find peace that surpasses understanding. Jesus said, “My joy is in you so your joy can be full; love one another as I have loved you.” He left us His peace – not as the world gives, but a deeper peace of being loved, accepted and brought into a relationship with the Father.

This awareness shifts your consciousness from a focus on doing to a focus on being.

In this state of being, I live in unconditional love, grace and mercy. That is the state I live in. I am in rest; I don’t strive or struggle. I simply enjoy. A key to this shift in consciousness is understanding that you don’t have to do anything to maintain your relationship with God – it is freely given by His grace and love. You don’t earn it, work for it or need to do anything to sustain it. Instead, you enjoy it. You enjoy being loved, the joy of relationship with God, and a state of peace, free from duty, obligation or fear.

This means you can enjoy each day, knowing He is with you, and you are with Him. You don’t have to try to connect with God because He is already in you. Communication becomes continuous, as you are constantly face-to-face with Him in the light of His presence. He is connected to the core of your being, so you live in a state of oneness with Him. “Whoever is joined to the Lord is one spirit.” This oneness becomes a background awareness of His presence and your presence in Him, allowing you to live in love, joy and peace.

Communication with God becomes more of an inner knowing, where He shares His heart with you, filling you with peace. You are inspired by His intentions, which brings a sense of authority into your everyday life. Resting in Him means that you don’t approach Him with an agenda. You don’t seek to encounter or communicate with Him for specific goals; instead, you simply want to know His heart and walk in fellowship, intimacy and relationship with Him. As you rest in this relationship, He begins to reshape your understanding of yourself and your connection to Him, naturally transforming your consciousness into a state of rest.

From this place, communication with God becomes instinctive, an inner knowing of His heart. Yes, you may talk with Him, and He with you, but it becomes more about sharing hearts and living out of a state of union and oneness. As you do this, everything you are doing in the realms of Heaven connects with what you are doing here on earth, creating a seamless flow between both realms. You live in a state of peace and rest, enjoying life more fully, as life is meant to be enjoyed.

Living in intimacy with God, knowing that He is your Father who loves you, fills you with a sense of peace and purpose. In that state of love, He desires the best for you and wants you to live out that relationship daily, grounded in love, joy, peace and rest.

356. Soul Healing: Embracing Wholeness with God

Video Summary

Becoming one with God involves the surrender of the soul’s control and its tendency to dictate our lives. The soul has been crucial in protecting us and shaping our self-awareness, but it often carries unresolved issues and unmet needs, leading to a fractured identity. When the spirit awakens and begins to reveal our true identity in God, the soul may resist this change, trying to keep us safe behind protective walls that can become prisons.

To heal, we must trust God enough to let go of control, allowing Him to separate and then reintegrate our soul and spirit from within. This journey involves engaging with God, recognising how our personality and experiences shape us. Many operate mainly from the soul, influenced by upbringing rather than intimacy with God.

Through my own experiences, I learned that God desires to meet our needs and provide love and acceptance, allowing us to love ourselves. I spent time resting in God, allowing Him to restore my soul. Once He separated and properly reintegrated my soul and spirit, my spirit could remain connected to heaven while my soul functions on earth. This integration fosters a continuous flow of revelation knowledge and understanding, and enables me to engage with both realms effortlessly.

Ultimately, union with God requires harmony between our spirit, soul and body. This relationship is not just theoretical; it’s meant to be experiential. By developing a relational trust in God, we can experience His presence and love fully, allowing our spirit, soul and body to work together as He designed us.

343. The Power of Intention

It comes down a lot to intention and how you focus your intention to bring about the outcome that you desire. Most people struggle with this because they’re trying to overcome a negative way of thinking, a negative mindset, a belief system, or even the facts.

Encounter truth

For instance, if you’re looking for a change in health, and the doctors say you have a particular condition, but you choose to believe in a reality where you don’t have it, you often feel doubt or unbelief. You might wonder how to get rid of this diagnosis or how to renew your mind. To be honest, you can’t really renew your own mind. Your mind gets renewed by encountering truth, which changes the lies you’ve believed. The more you encounter truth, the less hold the lies have on you because you realise they aren’t true.

In my relationship with God, the things I believed about myself, the world, and God were programmed into me by religion, culture, and upbringing. It wasn’t enough for me to just read the Bible or to try and think differently. The more I tried to think differently against something I previously believed, the more I focused on trying not to believe it.

When considering how to change your thinking to believe something different and operate out of that belief system, it requires encounters to change. It isn’t enough to have facts or information. I found that when I’ve encountered God, these encounters radically challenged what I previously believed, and the encounters changed my beliefs. If God had just told me something, it might not have been enough because I wouldn’t have experienced it. He has said many things to me that took a long time for me to realise because it’s only through experience that I could come into that reality.

An infinite number of choices

When it comes to choosing a reality, quantum physics indicates that if you choose something, the universe responds to you, or creation responds to you, and begins to manifest that. The problem is, you have an infinite number of choices every second of every day. Which ones do you make? Usually, you make the ones aligned with what you already expect to happen. So most people keep getting what they’ve always got because they align their choices with what they’ve always expected to happen. If you want something different, you have to learn to focus on that one thing and exclude all other possibilities so they no longer exist in your expectation.

Manifesting the desired reality

This is what hope is about—manifesting something. You’re essentially saying, “Here are all these possibilities, and I’m going to narrow them down and choose one to the exclusion of all the others.” In a quantum physics sense, what happens is that choice, out of all the others, collapses the wave function into that reality. All other possibilities cease to exist at that moment until the next moment. If you continually choose each moment to focus your intention on that, eventually, you won’t believe anything else, and that’s when it begins to manifest.

There is usually a period between choosing that reality and it becoming what you truly believe rather than just what you want. There’s a huge difference between wanting something to happen and totally believing it is going to happen. That’s where intention needs to be focused, and you need to be able to focus that intention consistently.

By continually focusing your intention, eventually nothing else will hold your belief, and you will find that the desired reality begins to manifest.

332. Embracing Multi-Dimensional Living

So the Father said to me, “It’s time for true reality in multi-dimensional living, so you can fully enjoy the bliss of rest from your labours by learning to just be.” Now, I could meditate, and I did meditate on that for a long time, but I still didn’t get it. I didn’t get what He was trying to say. But I never give up; I just treasure things in my heart, and I got the fact that it would be blissful to be at rest. I didn’t quite understand what my labour of learning was, but I discovered that all the things I learned to do by engaging Heaven were labouring to enter that rest of being, to just be.

Glimpses

The Father went on, “I have shielded you from the knowledge of what you are as a nonlinear, multi-dimensional being.” That is important because if I had known, I would have tried to do it or figure out how I could do it, and that’s not possible in my own strength. So He hid from me some of the knowledge of what I was doing in a nonlinear, multi-dimensional way and what I was accomplishing in the spiritual realms by giving me small glimpses that provided limited understanding, which began to expand my belief system and my consciousness to accept more that was coming.

He said, “I will take the blinkers off your mind so your consciousness can expand to take in multi-dimensional reality, so you can truly appreciate your capacity as a mature son of God.” I believe God can do this for all of us. This is the immortal quality of our lives. God was trying to show me that I was not limited to what I could see or feel or operate in a one-dimensional way of thinking. This was a process; it didn’t just happen all at once. When God said that, I began to embrace my desire to encounter it. Through meditating and embracing it, I eventually became aware of who I was. That happened as an experience, built on all that God promised was going to come, which I treasured.

I began to brood over it, and it began to become pregnant within me. Eventually, it was brought to birth. That’s the sort of process God does in my life. He says something I don’t get; I meditate on it, and it begins to grow and form. And eventually, it comes to birth.

Quantum moments

What happened in that moment? I began to become aware of what I am doing at higher levels of consciousness in an expanded state of reality. Now, that sounds weird and a bit ‘out there’, but that’s the only way I can describe it. My mind expanded to begin to perceive what I was capable of being in multiple places, at multiple times, doing multiple things. I wrote, “I am, therefore I exist in manifoldness like my Dad, in nonlinear quantum moments that are the fulfilment of my destiny.” (A quantum moment is a particle of time, the smallest particle of time that can be. It’s not a second followed by another second. Within that moment, all moments exist, and therefore you can live from a perspective of expanded moments.)

I’ve given testimonies about contracting and expanding time and all of that: this was a way of being, a way of thinking that embraced what this meant. I can’t say I understood it all at the time, but I began to get some experience of it. I began to realise that my capacity for understanding it was growing, so I was fulfilling my destiny in the spiritual realm and the physical realm, which were totally connected.

Unrestricted

In those moments, I began to see all the things that I was doing. I became aware of the amazing scope of who we are as sons of God, what we have the capacity to become: nonlinear, multi-dimensional beings unrestricted by the limitations of time and space. I am within I AM, therefore I am in multiple places, doing multiple simultaneous things.

Before my mind was deconstructed and I had the capacity to think nonlinearly, and before I was engaging in the Eternal Now (which I couldn’t do consciously at first), I could only go there in the spirit. Eventually, I could engage it consciously because my ability had expanded to be able to rest there without trying to figure it out. If I had tried to figure out living in the Eternal Now, I would have probably gone crazy, but I didn’t. I parked my understanding—my desire to understand—and I just embraced the experience. That began to change and expand my thinking, enabling me to take in all that would have been too much for me.

You may not understand all the terminology of what I share, but all the things I speak of are places where I have encounters with the Father, the Son and the Spirit. They were all linear; they happened in time, sometimes expanded time in a heavenly perspective. Sometimes hours here meant days and weeks there, but they all happened sequentially, one after the other. I learned to function as a son in the realms of heaven in all the places I share.

This was ten years of my life, and it took time to learn all those things one after the other. Sharing my testimony of that journey is what the Engaging God programme is all about, which aims to help people go on their own journey to discover who they are and express that as sons of God.

326. The Power of Confessing Your Beliefs

‘Confession’ is not just saying the words. Anyone can say “I am immortal” but that has no value if you do not truly believe it in the depths of your being. Your confessions have to be an overflow of what you already know to be 100% true – not something you are trying to convince yourself of.

When Jesus said that those who eat his flesh and drink his blood will not die, he was speaking of physical, not just spiritual, death (look at John 6:58). But this truth has been largely lost and spiritualised over the past 2,000 years. Religious leaders have instead reinforced the inevitability of physical death, often misinterpreting passages like Hebrews 9:27.

The reality is that Jesus has already conquered death, and we are called to live in the victory of that finished work. But most Christians have bought into the mindset that death is just a “promotion” to heaven – an unavoidable part of life that we have to accept. We need a complete mindset shift to align ourselves with the truth of our immortality. This isn’t just a mental or spiritual concept – it has to manifest in our physical bodies as well. We pursue wholeness and health, believing that God wants us healed and restored; when we live in that reality of health, we no longer need healing, because sickness and disease will have no hold on us. And if we do not get sick, we will not die. Immortality is the truth that has been brought to light through the gospel (see 2 Timothy 1:10), but a truth that most people have lived in darkness about.

The passage of time is no longer a threat, but an opportunity to fully walk out the eternal life that is ours in Christ. We do not have to fear aging or death, but can confidently press forward, knowing that our bodies will be transfigured and empowered to function in ways beyond our current understanding.

Conclusion

The key is aligning our confessions and our mindsets with the reality that Jesus has already accomplished, not trying to make something true that was not true before, but declaring and living out the truth of our immortality. When we do that, we will begin to see the power of the resurrection working in our mortal bodies, bringing them into the fullness of eternal life.

318. Not the End of the World

Understanding Realised Eschatology

Realised eschatology, for me, is also heading for an understanding of Christian universalism. The same scriptures Jesus referred to concerning hell (Gehenna) are in the same passage as those that speak of the end of the age – not the end of the world, but the conclusion of their Old Covenant age. People faced being cast into Gehenna if they remained in Jerusalem when the Roman armies invaded. They would be crucified, and a few hundred thousand were thrown into the literal Gehenna.

This is the concept of hell, as commonly understood in English. Of course, Christian Universalists would say hell is a different thing, and some deny its existence altogether. Personally, I see it as a place where those who haven’t come to know Jesus in life still have the opportunity to choose him after death – death is not the end of choice. Rather than a realm of punishment and torment, I see it as the fire of God’s loving presence which purifies and refines.

The scriptures that mention Gehenna portray it as a consequence of staying entrenched in the old covenant ways, not some future judgment scenario. It was a warning of a physical manifestation of death. Jesus warned his followers to flee Jerusalem when they saw certain signs: they understood this and ran to the hills, to find safety in Pella. By heeding his words, they were physically saved from the destruction that befell Jerusalem.

Signs

All that being said, I believe God introduces concepts like this to steer the church back to first principles, into a deeper relationship in which we experience Him intimately, face to face. Once we do, we no longer need the signs which pointed us towards this reality.

Experiential connection

In my preaching of the gospel, I aim to introduce people to Jesus in a way that facilitates a tangible, experiential connection with the Father. It is only through this intimate relationship that someone can truly understand and experience God’s unconditional love, find spiritual healing and wholeness, and embrace their identity and inheritance as a child of God. I believe God is gradually weaning us off an over-reliance on healings and miracles, so we can live in mystical experience with Him. This shift is not about abandoning miraculous manifestations altogether but that we use them for the purpose of outworking what God is doing in the earth.

We have the ability to govern and rule, to establish the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. This process begins first within our own lives, then thorough our lives, and ultimately leads to the creation of places on earth which do not operate under the government of earth but under the government of heaven. There will be no sickness there, no disease, no lack, no poverty: nothing contradictory to the fullness of life as children of God.

Cultivating relationship

In the Mystic movement, there is a shift away from seeking outward manifestations like healings towards cultivating a deeper relationship with God in which health and wholeness naturally flow, and the focus is no longer on individuals performing healing. God is our healer.

Early Christians underwent a profound shift in their understanding of God, moving moved away from viewing Him through the lens of an outdated religious and political system. Instead, Jesus revealed God as love incarnate, challenging their preconceptions and inviting them into a relational encounter with the Father. He came to undo their whole understanding of God from an Old Covenant mentality. This shift from a legalistic mindset to one grounded in relationship and experience to which Jesus is the door, empowered them to operate in sonship, seated in heavenly places, and to manifest the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven.

The God that we know

When we are introducing the reality of who God is, we do not need to do so through miraculous healing, but through introducing the God that we know. They can experience the God that they will then know, and then they can enter into that life themselves. Now I am not saying there are not amazing things. I have done all sorts of transrelocation, time miracles and other things; but in the purposes of outworking my relationship with God, not to prove who God is or to demonstrate to others how good God is. I can help them experience God themselves, so they are not dependent on me testifying by doing anything like that.

Preaching the gospel is about leading people to encounter the God we know, so that they can embark on their own journey of discovering His love and life-changing power for themselves.

301. Trauma Response | How memories can control our emotions

Emotions are a good servant and a bad master. The negative reactions we experience are often triggered by mindsets or neural pathways connected to memories. Predicting and controlling emotional responses can be difficult, but the restoration and healing of memories can lead to wholeness. Recognising our triggers and negative reactions is the first step, and in the Engaging God programme, I set out a process called Trauma to Transformation, exploring the roots of trauma with Jesus and the Father for healing.

When trauma surfaces, it provides an opportunity to explore its roots and understand why triggers occur for us. Walking through these memories with Jesus and the Father is a healing process, replacing neural pathways associated with trauma with pathways to the truth. This structured approach takes time but reduces the likelihood of repeated triggering. Meanwhile, in moments of overwhelming emotions, avoid condemnation or guilt. Turn to the Father, quickly re-centre yourself, and practise deep breathing to regain control until you can address the entire dynamic.

God wants to separate our soul and spirit, in order to properly reintegrate them. Our spirit does not need purifying as it has never been polluted; however, things we have done or had done to us can negatively impact our soul. When I go to sleep at night, I lie down in green pastures by quiet waters. I ask the Father to restore my soul, trusting Him as the Shepherd of my soul. I present myself as a living sacrifice, continually surrendered for Him to do whatever He wishes, and I respond when He reveals something. In this way, triggers can be dealt with, as the Father reveals their roots.

Several years ago, I faced an unexpectedly intense emotional response, which the Father revealed as stemming from childhood trauma from which I had completely dissociated. Rather than succumbing to the darkness, I chose to focus on finding peace and rest in the Father’s love. It took a few months, but over time He revealed and addressed the root cause and brought healing.

The sacrifice does not prepare itself; the high priest does. I offer myself to God daily, allowing Him to do as He pleases. I maintain my focus on Him, without pressuring Him to address my issues. I trust His guidance and surrender everything to Him, relying on His provision to renew my mind, heal my emotions, and restore me completely.

Focus on God, and allow Him to lead and guide the process. Trust in His love and provision for complete renewal in spirit, soul, and body.

294. To celebrate or not to celebrate? | The Christmas Question

Did Jesus explicitly instruct us to celebrate his birth? No, but the angels seemed to have a bit of fun with it. So, there was a sense of festivity. It is not a religious obligation, but rather an opportunity to focus on our relationship with Him. You might argue that there are pagan elements in the symbolism of these celebrations. It is religion that tends to focus on externals, embracing or rejecting certain celebrations as pagan or Christian without looking at the heart.

I do not see an issue with a time of year that provides an opportunity for us to spend quality time together with our loved ones. Some may advocate putting Christ back into Christmas, but I do not get entangled in those debates. Intent matters, and we are free to engage in the festivities as long as they do not become a bondage. Life is about freedom, not restriction.

One Christmas I insisted on avoiding any festivities, even having a tree – and my children still remember it. I had adopted someone else’s convictions without considering the intent. Any sense of obligation or duty, whether from avoiding or blindly following traditions, is a trap. Celebrating a holiday does not necessarily carry religious significance for us, but if it provides an opportunity to connect with people and share the message of God’s love, why not embrace it?
