466. Quantum Integration | Connecting Spirit and Soul for Transformation

Separation and reintegration

Once I had gone through that process and reintegrated, I became whole—spirit, soul, and body—in a genuine sense of completeness. My soul no longer felt the need to validate itself or dictate the terms of my actions. Suddenly, my soul and spirit were functioning in different realms but remained connected. This reintegration of spirit and soul brought a quantum entangled perspective, enabling me to be anywhere, as it were, and allowing my spirit to function in that realm.

Previously, I was tied to my soul; I would journey into heaven and then come back out, rather than having my spirit truly dwelling there, seated with Christ in heavenly places. Although my spirit was seated with Christ, I couldn’t fully understand or consciously realise the connection, as my soul kept pulling me out. As a result, I would have amazing heavenly experiences but would always return, rather than remaining in that place. God intended for me to dwell there consciously, uniting my spiritual and physical consciousness—linking my mind and spirit.

The bridal chamber

When that happened, everything came together. Things changed quite dramatically, and a whole range of new experiences opened up, eventually taking me into union in the bridal chamber. Now, this union is not sexual, but it is just as profound as sexual union, as described in 1 Corinthians 6:17. In the previous verse, it refers to whoever is joined to a prostitute becoming one flesh with her, illustrating the depth of true union.

I truly didn’t know what to expect. I felt invited to come to this place to meet the person of God—that was the union I experienced. After undergoing the process of separation and reintegration of spirit, I entered into the person of God and engaged with Him face to face. The encounter was overwhelming—far too much for me to handle. My limited beliefs and my mind simply could not cope with the magnitude of the experience, so I withdrew very quickly. But in that brief moment, I saw God and encountered something far too wonderful for me to explain or even process with my understanding of who God was.

Cognitive dissonance

This encounter created cognitive dissonance and prepared me to re-experience the true God, because the religious concept of God I had did not align with what I felt in that moment. It was simply too wonderful for the God I had believed in. I had to go through the process of really coming to know and dwell with Him. This began back in 2012, and over the years, I underwent a time of deconstruction—discovering who God truly is.

My relationship with God deepened, revealing the true God behind the false one I had previously imagined—the one who needed me to serve, be obedient, and fulfil duties out of obligation. All of that fell away as God challenged those beliefs. The ‘old covenant’ concepts I still held were also challenged. Throughout all of this, I continued to have encounters which led me to new places. For example, I passed through a series of firestone experiences—nine encounters in total—which took me into different levels of identity as a son of God.

There were many strands of experience, all drawing me towards union. Looking back, I realise how much work it took to get me to this place. I was so far removed from it, but I persisted in the journey, not knowing how each strand or encounter fitted together. All the experiences had a purpose, even if I couldn’t see how at the time—there was indeed a goal at the end.

391. Living in the Supernatural

Mike Parsons

When it comes to experiencing the presence of God in the supernatural, we tend to have a perspective on what we think the supernatural is. Therefore, it’s anything above normal, everyday life. What I would say to you is that God wants us to live as though the normal is what is called the supernatural. But it’s not a suspension of normality; rather, it’s living in the presence of God within the life that we live. And that is a relationship, and the relationship takes time to develop. You know, although you say, “Well, I want the reality rather than just knowledge or information,” that’s fine. That’s what God wants us to have. But what that looks like must be how He has designed it to look for us, not like anybody else. You can’t look at my life and compare my life to yours because we are different. I have a journey; I’ve come from a place, and I’ve gone through processes in my life to bring me to the place where I now am, and I have a purpose in God in that.

I would encourage you to develop your relationship. Forget about what you think the supernatural is. Just start to develop a relationship with God, which is in the reality of your life.

Now, that can start with what’s inside. God is in you. Start with engaging God in you. Don’t start with, “I want to go to heaven,” “I want to do this,” “I want to go to this dimension,” or “I want to do that.” Start with God every day. Jesus said that within us is a fountain of life in John 4, from which we can drink. That’s a source of life of the Spirit. That is supernatural because it’s not coming from the natural, but it’s coming from a heavenly, spiritual dimension.

So, living a spiritual life in the natural world, you can draw and drink from that source, which is what you’re saying: “I am not going to go for any of these worldly sources for my life. I am going to engage in that reality with You.” And don’t put an agenda on it. The key is not to put an agenda so that you are determining what that process will look like and what it will look like to live in the spiritual dimension within this natural world. Let Him lead you on that journey. Let Him dictate it. But I would encourage you to spend the time developing the relationship, and in the relationship, allow Him to lead you on the journey. So, spend time with Him without an agenda.

Just enjoy His presence. Ask Him to reveal His presence, show Himself, so you can feel His love. Do the meditation for rest exercise that we have available. It’s a very simple exercise. I do it in the Patreon sessions. Close your eyes, and you can do it right now. Close your eyes, just come to a place of peace and rest. Get comfortable, start to think about the presence of God the Father. Start to think about love. Start to think about joy and peace, and just focus your attention and your thinking on the presence of the Father.

You can then think about a river or a fountain within you and turn inwards with your thinking to the presence of the Father within you, within your spirit. Just choose to drink from that fountain. Picture the fountain if you can, or just choose with your imagination to say, “No, I’m going to drink from the fountain. I’m going to receive spiritual life. I’m going to receive spiritual energy. I’m going to receive love.” Love is filling me. Love is filling me. It’s bubbling up, it’s increasing in me. Joy is filling me. Peace is filling me.

And as you drink deeper and deeper, that becomes your source. Then, whatever the experience is, whatever you’re feeling about the experience, just practise. Just train your senses through practice every day. Just turn inwards, thank God for His presence in you. Thank Jesus, thank the Holy Spirit, thank the Father for them being within you. Thank them for placing within you a fountain of life, of energy, of spirit that you can draw from. Be grateful, be thankful, and just bit by bit, begin to develop.

And, you know, I’ve done lots of stuff about hearing the voice of God and being still. Generally, it’s being still, so you can know God.

Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I am loved.
Be still and know that I am peace.
Be still and know that I am joy.

Sometimes we have to stop trying and just rest and be still. Then begin to focus our thinking, our attention on Him, so that we can begin to feel and sense what it is to be connected to the presence of the Father within us, and then let it go from there.

When it comes to angels, you know, I only do what the Father shows me to do. You have your own angels. So, again, what I would encourage you to do rather than me trying to send my angel to you so you can have an experience, is that you’re reliant on me. That isn’t going to teach you how to do it for yourself. So, what I would do again is close my eyes. I would begin to think about the angels that are behind you. They’re with you. They’re your angels, they’re assigned to you. Begin to think about them. Focus your thinking on them.

Then, thank them that they’re there and thank them for helping you in your life. Talk to them and ask them what their names are. See if any thoughts come into your mind. Every day, after you’ve engaged God, just engage those angels. Thank them that they’re with you. Ask them to help you in the day, help them to go forward. If you’re travelling, ask them to do things for you. Just become conscious so that you can begin to experience that reality. But don’t strive and stress for it. Just gently practice it.

You’re going to engage your angels. If you engage them, you’re not likely to experience them if you don’t engage them. So, choose to engage them, even if you can’t see them or can’t feel anything. They’re there, so engage them as if they are there. Talk to them, thank them, communicate with them, and they’ll begin to communicate with you. It might be a thought, it might be an impression, it might be a word in your mind, but they will begin to communicate, just as the Father will communicate. Just draw from the right source.

Practice, practice, practice. Don’t get frustrated. Don’t set the agenda for what it looks like. Just choose to give yourself the time as a priority in your life to make room to experience these things, and things will grow and develop. You can live in a spiritual dynamic in everyday life as God intends you to do.

306. Reflecting on My Journey with God

Mike Parsons

Reflecting on my personal journey, I found immense joy in being led by God rather than following a rigid set of practices. It wasn’t about ticking off tasks but allowing my senses to be trained, within the relationship I shared with God. If I were to offer advice, I would suggest a less systematic and more relational approach, emphasising the importance of being led, enjoying the journey, and avoiding unnecessary stress.

Our journey with God isn’t a duty; it’s a dynamic relationship. Whilst the Engaging God programme can be a useful guide, it’s showcasing possibilities rather than dictating a routine. I wouldn’t change my journey, as it uniquely unfolded based on my relational connection with God. However, I’ve added basic meditation and rest at the beginning of each day to enhance the experience of simply being, not doing.

It’s about enjoying the journey, and I encourage others to be led by what resonates with them rather than adhering strictly to a predetermined order. Following God’s guidance is paramount, since every individual is at a different stage in their journey. I stress the importance of being led to what personally resonates, acknowledging that everyone’s path is unique. One size definitely does not fit all, and that’s perfectly fine.

Key takeaway

Approaching the journey from a place of rest, enjoying the process rather than fixating on the destination, leads to the unfolding of identity and the revelation of destiny through a deep and relational connection with God.

237. New Things Have Come

Mike Parsons
with Jeremy Westcott

Comparing the old and the new

Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come (2 Cor 5:17).

Two thousand years ago, Jesus came with a completely new perspective and radically reinterpreted everything the religious people thought they knew. In my experience, He still does the same today. Here are a few things He has shown us in a totally new light:

Prayer – we used to pray from earth asking for God’s help from heaven, hoping that God would hear us from a distance. The new way is to come to meet Him face to face, to come boldly to the throne of grace, sit on His lap and talk to Him.

Revival – this is such a huge desire and expectation among the Christian community, but we have been praying in the way of the old: “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down” (Isaiah 64:1). In the new, we see that God has already come down, He has already rent the heavens. What is more, He has gone back up into the heavens and opened up the veil for us to come. We have been asking Him to come and do what He is asking us to come and do!

In the old, access to holy places and the holy things of God is limited to only some special people – mediatorial priests. In the new, access is open to all of us. Now we can all enjoy the intimacy and rest of relationship and out of that flows our ability to fulfil positions of government as sons in responsibility.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven, and the first voice which I had heard, like the sound of a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things” (Rev 4:1).

Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God… let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need (Heb 4:14, 16).

There are going to be times of need, but we don’t need to be cowering, pleading with God to come and rescue us. His help is about empowering us to overcome the obstacles we face in restoring all things to His original design and purpose.

…that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God (Rom 8:21).

Operating as lords, kings and sons

The old is like being in the wilderness and expecting God to do it for us from heaven. In the new God has given us responsibility to be co-heirs, partners in heaven operating as lords, kings and sons. As transfigured sons we are going to radiate glory to bring the whole of creation into its freedom, to restore it so that heaven and earth are in complete harmony.

Spiritual warfare as we have previously known it was never very effective because it was attempting to pull down something from below. There was a lot of shouting into the heavens or into the atmosphere of the earth, binding this and that, but no-one ever went into heaven first to bind things there. In the new, all that is now replaced with judicial verdicts from above in the courts, which have heavenly authority to bind and to loose (to bind things to what they should be and to loose them from what they should not be). We have gone from houses of prayer and prayer closets on the earth to having charge of the courts of heaven, a completely different mindset, and we have learnt that everything must now first be done beyond the veil to be effective.

“Your Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven”: in the old way of thinking, God sovereignly administers from His throne whilst we just obey here on earth. In the new, God has chosen to operate His sovereignty through us, having given us authority over this whole created order:

…and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:6).

If we are seated with Christ, we are seated on thrones from which we administer in heaven.

Mature sons

The old way is like being children whose parent does everything for them and on their behalf. It is time for us to mature and become responsible adults. Like a parent encouraging His adolescent children to take responsibility for more and more of their own lives, God is withdrawing His support for the old, which will slowly but surely (or perhaps sometimes suddenly) stop being effective. What once worked for us will no longer do so, even if it is still seems to be working for others. At that point we will have no choice but to embrace the new. If we are really forerunners, we will not wait until that happens.

God wants to manifest us as His sons to fulfil our destiny and restore creation. Each of us has a destiny, and those destinies interact with one another to bring about God’s purpose. We have been called at the end of the ages. Each of us has a role specifically chosen and designed for us by God. Like Esther, He has chosen us for such a time as this.

Why can’t I keep the old ways?

When Israel crossed over into the Promised Land, 2½ tribes chose to go back across the Jordan. From that time on there is no record of them in scripture and no evidence that the old ways continued to work for them. We might all long for the simplicity of childhood with few responsibilities but we are called to grow up. We can’t just keep drinking milk like babies if we want to be mature sons.

If you decide to stay in the old you risk dying in the wilderness with those who do not want you to cross over into your inheritance. The old order has a vested interest in maintaining the status quo. They don’t want you to hear God yourself, because then you would not keep coming to the prophetic conferences they are putting on (the ones where they will hear God for you rather than equipping you to hear Him for yourself). The lure of the familiar and comfortable is powerful, but it is an illusion: once God begins to challenge you, you may never be comfortable with the old and familiar again.

The old order

The old Moses order has failed to prepare for the harvest. The 5-fold ministries have failed to equip the church but instead built empires. They have failed to lead people into their destinies or help them access their scrolls and their true calling, making a generation of dependent slaves rather than manifest sons. They have failed to honour people, instead making them spectators or servants of their visions. They have not released people into their highest calling or recognised their spheres of authority. They have created religious systems from the pathway of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, establishing businesses out of worship and making celebrity idols out of servants.

Prophets, apostles, pastors, teachers and evangelists have become professionals. Whether knowingly or unknowingly, they have made people dependent on them as mediators who hear God for them, fuelling a dependency and co-dependency mentality. There are no rabbis in the new day but Jesus. Please stop trying to follow earthly rabbis – and whatever you do, don’t treat me as one.

We cannot keep trying to use wilderness methodologies expecting Promised Land results. We have to change, to align ourselves with what God is saying and doing now. He is changing the way we do things. We are no longer to expect others to tell us what to think but to be taught how to engage God for ourselves. We evaluate everything we do on the basis of whether it is ‘as it is in heaven’: have we established it in heaven first before we try to work it out on earth?

We are called to be forerunners and, like Joshua and Caleb alone among the Promised Land spies, we need to give a good report. In the next post, we will look at how we do that – in the new.

Equipping a Joshua Generation of supernatural sons of God to live according to the order of Melchizedek

‘Engaging God’ is an interactive modular programme developed by Mike Parsons.

Through using it you will learn how to access God through Jesus who is the Way, Truth and Life, in the realms of heaven and within your own spirit and heart; and how to take up your responsibility as a mature son [daughter] in God’s kingdom.

Many people have had involuntary or ecstatic encounters or experiences where they have engaged God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and the realms of heaven in visions. Whether you have had such experiences yourself or not, through this programme you will learn to develop the ability to engage and re-engage those encounters at will, and to mature in outworking the revelation you receive from God on a daily basis.
