Walking in the Spirit is not just being guided by the Holy Spirit or having spiritual moments. It is about living from the spiritual realm, with our spirit active in heaven even as we are present on earth. John’s vision in Revelation was not metaphorical; he really entered a different dimension. It is to live in oneness—spirit, soul and body aligned and flowing with God.
Galatians 5 is about maturity, not inner conflict. The ‘flesh’ is not our body, but our soul acting in independence. As we surrender and align with God’s Spirit, love, joy and peace naturally flow. This comes about through relationship and union—not effort or rules.
Union with Christ means our soul letting go of that independence. It is not denying ourselves in a negative sense, but surrendering our need for control. Real change comes from trusting in how God sees us and allowing Him to reshape our thinking (that is real metanoia or ‘repentance’). Surrender is not a one-off event: the more we get to know Him, the more we are called to let go and trust.
My own deeper surrender came in 2011-12, when I finally gave up the need to understand everything and simply trusted God. That changed everything, and I became whole in a way I had never known before.
Immortality
As for immortality—I have friends who have died despite believing in it. I do not pretend to know why. But I still trust God’s goodness. Their deaths have not shaken my faith, because immortality is not just a question of belief but of living in divine life now, not pushing it into the future.
A diagnosis of Ménière’s disease (vertigo, deafness and medication with grim side effects) forced me to go deeper with God. I came to realise healing was in the atonement. That led first to healing, then living in health, and eventually a shift towards living from immortality—Jesus’ life sustaining mine through communion (as a way of being, not a ritual). Communion is living in constant co-union.
This is not just theory for me—it is my lived experience. It has taken decades to grasp, and is still unfolding. Not everyone will get it straight away, but I hope it will not take too long. The restoration of all things is ongoing: let us keep trusting in God’s life and goodness.

If we do anything that contradicts loving our bodies, we need to apologise for that. Our body is an equal partner within the union of spirit, soul and body, so we must work together in harmony. I personally operate within the cells of my body to ensure health and well-being. But if I do something that contradicts that—if I am careless—then I take responsibility for it.
For me, this often happens with accidents in the garden or workshop. But one particular experience stands out.
In the tunnels
While on holiday in Vietnam, we visited the Cu Chi tunnels—an underground network built by the Viet Cong near Saigon, where thousands of people once lived. They were incredibly small, only about two foot six high, making it difficult for me to move around. The tunnel was dark, 100 metres long, with exit points every 20 metres. I was about 50 metres in when the tunnel made a slight turn that I couldn’t see.
In the darkness, I slipped, headbutting the floor. I took the skin off my chin, nose, top lip, forehead, and eye. My eye socket was bruised, leaving me with a big black eye, and there was blood everywhere. At first, I wasn’t sure what had happened—I just felt wetness running down my face and thought, “Oh no, I’ve cut my head open.”
Eventually, I got out of the tunnel and had to deal with the fear and trauma immediately. I didn’t want it to take root, so I consciously started smiling, refusing to let negativity set in. When Debbie saw me, she reacted with concern, asking what I had done. But rather than panic, I focused on staying calm. I found some water, washed off all the blood, and assessed the damage. I looked like a mess, but I was determined not to let fear, worry or anxiety take hold.
I knew it was my fault—yes, it was an accident and I had slipped, and because my elbows and knees were too close to the tunnel walls, I had no way to stop my fall—it was just a two-foot-six bang into the ground! But what mattered was how I dealt with it. I immediately worked with my body, ensuring there would be no infection. I washed the wounds with water from a bamboo spout—who knows what was in it—but I consciously chose the reality that there would be no infection and that my body would heal quickly.
I dealt with the trauma. I released the trauma immediately. I worked in cooperation with my body, and within less than a week the whole injury had gone and I had no physical marks. I had thought “I’m going to come home with a great big scar on my face” but actually I did not. I had to capture my thoughts, because I was thinking “how long is this going to take to heal?” but then I chose “No, I’m going to work with the cells of my body to repair themselves quickly.” And that’s exactly what happened.
People in the tour group were amazed. ” Well, you healed quickly!” And I did, within less than a week. But I did not want (a) anything to hinder my enjoyment of the holiday or (b) any infection. Some of the Canadian ladies kept offering me antiseptic and antibiotic creams, saying, “Here, you should use this.” But I politely declined. I wanted to let the wounds breathe because exposure to air often speeds up healing. I was intentional about working with my body rather than just assuming healing would happen on its own.
Miracles are a lesser way
Many people believe in healing but don’t necessarily know how to cooperate with it. Some rely on gifts of healing, wanting someone else to lay hands on them and make everything better. While gifts of healing do exist, they are not a guarantee. Some people believe that Jesus died so they could be healed, but they don’t necessarily understand how to work with that truth. They expect healing to happen in a moment—instant and effortless.
Miracles do happen, and I’m not saying they don’t, but miracles are actually a lesser way of living. God’s desire is for us to live in health, not just to keep receiving miraculous healings, or relying on others to heal us, but to learn how to walk in health as children of God – because that is our inheritance.
Denial isn’t the answer
Sometimes, we don’t fully understand why healing doesn’t manifest for someone. We don’t know what’s happening inside them—emotionally, spiritually or physically. I’ve visited and prayed for people who were terminally ill and who insisted, “I’m not going to die. I completely believe I will be healed.” But sometimes, something didn’t feel right. There were moments when I sensed I couldn’t fully agree with them because, deep down, it felt like they were not being real – that they were in denial rather than in genuine faith. Christian Scientists, for example, tend to deny the existence of illness and sickness altogether, but denial isn’t the answer. We have to learn to engage with our bodies, to cooperate with them, and to work through the process of healing.

‘Not having an agenda’ when you do have one is quite difficult, because you do have an agenda: you want to find healing.
The shift happens when you align with the Father’s intention. Instead of thinking, “I want to be healed,” you rest in the reality of “I am healed.” Symptoms may persist, but they will follow your position of rest.
Jesus said, “Pray, believing you’ve received, and you will receive.” When you truly know the Father’s intention and accept healing as your inheritance, your body will align with your belief. But this can’t come from striving—it starts with accepting what God has already declared true.
Most people believe it when they’ve received it, rather than before they’ve received it; and it works when you believe it before you have actually manifested it, because that is what brings the manifestation. And people get disappointed because the symptoms are still there. They may say “I’m healed,” but actually they’re in denial.
“Well, I’m healed,”
“Do you still have the symptoms?”
“Yes”
“Okay, so are you healed or are you not healed?”
“Well…”
And you get all this muddled mixture of thoughts and feelings around it. And I know when I speak to someone and they’re not in denial: they can honestly say “There are still symptoms in my body but my body is aligning with how I think.”
You can consciously choose to call that into being. Therefore the frequency of your words will begin to vibrate your body into alignment with it, when you’re at rest in it. So a lot of people say, “Renew your mind” and they confess scripture; they are just speaking, they are not actually renewing their mind. You can’t renew your own mind, your mind gets renewed when you agree with God’s mind.
Striving to believe often hinders the manifestation. So it’s getting that fine balance… it is the truth that you are healed, but it might not be the fact within your present situation. When the truth is more true to you than the symptoms that you might still have, that is the point where things begin to change.
My testimony of healing from Ménière’s disease
Years ago, I had Ménière’s disease, which caused vertigo and other symptoms. This was the 1early 1990s, and I went on a quest for healing, because I didn’t know what I believed about it. I’d been prayed for many times and received healing, so I knew God could heal. I knew people could lay hands on me – and I’d been healed. But none of that worked in this situation. God was trying to get me to look at “What do you really believe about healing?”
So I did what I knew to do, then: I went back and found every Bible verse on healing, and looked at them, and discovered some things that were different from what I’d believed. Because at that point I was believing that healing was in God’s Kingdom, but that we were still in the ‘now, and the not yet’ of God’s Kingdom; so sometimes God would heal and sometimes not. Well, that’s not really helpful, you know, because what if I am is the one where it doesn’t happen, and I’m stuck?
So I realised that no, God IS my healer, it’s one of His names. Jesus actually took my sickness and disease when He died so I don’t have to have it. That sickness died when I died with Him.
So why am I not just perfectly whole? Well, because even though I might actually choose to believe that, my physical body has to come into agreement; therefore some change needs to take place within my physical being to align with where I am in that place of rest, knowing the truth. The truth you know will set you free, and you have to know by experience.
Now, that doesn’t mean you have to experience the healing to know the healing; you have to experience what God says and where you are in the experience with God. So you are resting in that reality; it is the truth. There is no double-mindedness; there is no doubt or unbelief; it is the truth, and no one could convince you otherwise – even the symptoms that you might still have – and therefore you are at rest in it. “I’m not striving for it; I know it’s the truth that will bring about the reality.”
But it often takes some time to get to that point because we have to overcome the battle of the thoughts and the symptoms to get to that point where we “know that we know.” And eventually, after about three years of learning all about healing, learning about God, learning about what Jesus did on the cross, learning how that all applied, I got to the point where I was at rest.
I never said “Well, I am healed.” It is more that I was thinking, “That is the truth, so I’m going to focus on what is true rather than what might be the present fact.” So the present reality didn’t affect what I saw as being my true reality, which was to be whole, to be healed. And eventually, after resting in that place for quite a while, I was content in it. I was still taking medication, because it is dangerous to drive if you’re going to get vertigo attacks and things like that. It wasn’t pleasant medication, but I was taking it.
And one day I had the breakthrough, in that something changed physically in my ears. I had deafness and tinnitus in one ear – severely – and I could hardly hear anything other than muffled sound. The tinnitus was quite pronounced. And I was listening to some music – I was in a conference actually, in a worship conference, and all of a sudden it was as if “Who turned the PA up?” You see, it was as if the volume just went up and I thought “Wow!!!” And then I realised, “I don’t think anyone else is noticing this, it must be me!” And then I felt God say, “Now you can throw the medication away.” And I did. I never took another tablet and never had another vertigo attack or anything else, and my hearing was fine.
PLEASE NOTE: We strongly advise you to consult a suitably qualified health professional before discontinuing any medication that has been prescribed for you.
But it took a number of years to get to that point and then it took months living at that point until the reality was there. And, you know, for me it was a dramatic thing – it was like BANG! OH! It’s done! But it’s not always that way. Sometimes it’s just that the process gets to the point where you just realise “Oh, can’t hear anything wrong in my ear anymore,” or “my hearing’s improved.” Sometimes it just creeps up on you and sometimes it’s progressive in that it gets better and continues to get better until it’s completely healed.
You know, Jesus sent the lepers to the Temple to show themselves to the priests, and it happened along the way. As they were walking, they still bore the signs of leprosy. Perhaps it faded gradually with each step, or maybe they were simply walking when, all at once, they realised it was gone. But eventually they showed themselves to the priests… (we know one of them definitely did, because he came back and said thank you. We’re not really sure about the others – they may have been healed and just not bothered to come back and thank Jesus, or they may have not, because on the way they may have had doubt and unbelief and not followed through the process – who knows?) But we know definitely that the one person did: he was able to show himself to the priest and the priest pronounced him healed, or whole.
So it takes time, and no one can really determine exactly what the process is for every individual, but it does work.

It has been a long journey—from discovering how to receive healing, to living in health, to embracing an immortal perspective. Over time, I have had to learn how to navigate the difficulties of sickness in the world. This included ensuring that sickness had no access to my life. Whenever I entered an environment where sickness was present, my mindset and belief system were focused on the fact that sickness could not touch me.
I began taking communion many years ago as a way to address issues within my DNA and other areas of my life that required the love, power and life of God. Through communion, I invited God’s transformative work into my being. I would take communion and make declarations—specifically ones addressing DNA, as shared in my earlier teachings and in the Engaging God materials. Over time, this practice became a part of who I am, allowing me to fully receive the life that communion offers.
The Importance of Mindset
I began to approach communion from the understanding that health is my inheritance in God. Health represents how God originally intended me to be. By taking communion, I cooperated with God’s purpose to restore me to his original intention. In doing so, I began to receive life, not just to avoid death but to live in health. This required removing any associations with death from my mind, emotions, and body. Whether these associations were rooted in fear or ingrained belief systems, they had to go.
Through communion, I allowed God to address these areas. Eventually, he led me beyond the traditional practice of communion with bread and wine or juice. I began to view every meal as an opportunity to receive the life of God. Over time, this perspective shifted further—I no longer needed to make specific declarations because they had become a natural part of me.
Living in a State of Communion
This shift culminated in understanding that every breath I take is an act of communion with God. I draw life from him with every breath, living in a constant state of refreshing. The rhythm of breathing—Yod-He-Vav-He—became a representation of this communion. This perspective transformed my state of being: I moved from doing communion, to receiving it in daily activities, to becoming communion itself. Living in this state of oneness with God, health is no longer something I fight for; it is the natural outcome of my existence.
Through this journey, I experienced the cleansing of my DNA and severed connections to aging as tied to the passage of time. My body is continually replenished and restored as I cooperate with the renewal process. I consciously agree with my body’s restoration, allowing each cell to repair, renew, and align with God’s intention.
Overcoming Associations with Death
To move from health to immortality is not a large step when your body is continually renewing itself. This process requires a mindset rooted in the understanding that health is our inheritance. Any symptoms of illness or decay must be rejected. I refuse to accept sickness, ill health, or even genetic issues as my own. Instead, I focus on the life of God and the DNA of Jesus to address these areas. By targeting specific genetic issues with the life of God, I align myself with my true identity as a new creation in Christ Jesus: “The old is gone, the new has come.”
To fully live in this reality, I embraced a state of unwavering belief. Doubt, unbelief, and double-mindedness have no place in this consciousness. I live in the truth of who I am: immortal, drawing on the life of God. Practices such as drawing energy from quantum fields and activating life within me are no longer tasks I perform daily—they are simply part of who I am.
Daily Practices for Renewal
Living this way means my spirit, soul, and body exist in complete union and harmony. My emotions, physical body, and mind are in sync, creating a state of rest and alignment. This harmony allows the life I continually receive from God to restore and renew me, bringing complete wholeness.
As I embrace immortality, I put on the reality of sanctification—spirit, soul, and body—fully and entirely. Renewing my mind is key to this process. From a place of rest, I allow the life of God to transform me, enabling me to live in the fullness of health, wholeness, and immortality as God intended.

We are holistic beings, not designed as separate parts. Many medical researchers affirm that emotions can have a dramatic effect on the body. They suggest that much sickness and disease is emotional, but this doesn’t mean the physical symptoms aren’t real. What often opens the door to illness is how we operate in our soul and the emotions we carry, which can be quite toxic, especially if they stem from trauma. The memory of trauma can be stored in the physical cells of the body or within the mind, and this memory can be just as powerful as the initial trauma.
Often, we dissociate from these memories or bury them, but they remain, triggering reactions within our body and soul. People might not understand why they react a certain way to specific stimuli or circumstances; it could be their 2-year-old self, 3-year-old self, or 10-year-old self reacting to a present situation that brings up a past memory. This is why someone might feel fear, anxiety, or anger in response to seemingly irrelevant circumstances. The memory stored within the body gets triggered, and people wonder why they behaved in a certain way.
Our minds need to be renewed
We are new creations in Christ, but our minds need to be renewed to the truth of who we are. Epigenetic factors, which are memories passed down through generations, can trigger emotional and physical responses. These are not stored in the DNA but are attached to it, affecting various aspects of our lives. Some people go through life seemingly okay until something major triggers a stored memory, leading them down an unexpected path.
God wants us to be whole, but we can’t make our bodies whole without dealing with our minds and emotions. These elements are interactive, affecting each other. Pain, for example, can be a helpful indication that something is wrong, prompting us to avoid harmful actions in the future. However, pain should not control us. Some people fear pain or emotional hurt so much that they avoid relationships or certain experiences.
God desires to heal all trauma within the body and soul so we can be completely whole. This involves dealing with the memories of hurt, pain, and emotional situations that are buried within us, preventing our physical bodies from reacting out of those past traumas.
Emotional Pain
Emotional pain is often harder to deal with than physical pain. If you have physical pain, you can identify the cause and address it. For example, if you have muscular pain, you can rest the muscle or do specific exercises to free up frozen muscles or strengthen them, like with rotator cuff issues. If you want to become a gymnast, you need to stretch your muscles and tendons regularly to become flexible. People who can’t touch their toes usually have tight hamstrings, and consistent stretching exercises can help.
However, emotional pain isn’t as straightforward. You can’t always see it or feel it in the same way, so you might not realise the restrictions and limitations it places on you. Traumatic memories and emotional pain can be deeply buried, affecting you without your awareness.
God can heal and restore everything, bringing our physical bodies into alignment with the rest. But achieving this rest requires trust in God for the healing and wholeness he promises, rather than striving for it in ways that cause more stress. Emotional stress and anxiety can worsen physical sickness. It’s essential to take thoughts captive and reject those that don’t align with how God thinks about us.
Worrying about potential physical outcomes can lead to fear, affecting your entire being. It’s crucial to deal with these issues at their source and not allow them to generate fear. Fear lowers the body’s frequency, making organs more susceptible to negative influences. Elevating your frequency through thanksgiving, gratitude, and praise helps focus thoughts on God rather than yourself.
Living in thanksgiving for health, wholeness, and emotional freedom from trauma allows you to embrace a higher reality—God’s desire for you.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus
If we live in a higher reality, focusing on a higher frequency, it can align the lower frequency of our physical state. By maintaining a high-frequency mindset, aligned with a positive relationship with God, our bodies can follow suit. This approach is not about denying current circumstances but choosing to focus on solutions rather than problems.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer who leads us into new territory, helps us to see beyond our current situation. Faith plays a crucial role here, as it is the evidence of things not yet seen. Faith is grounded in God’s desires for us. When we focus on God’s promises, even if they don’t align with current facts, those facts can change to align with God’s truth. Jesus taught us to believe we have received what we pray for, even before we see it. This creative perspective aligns our desires with God’s, raising our frequency to a level of love, joy, and peace.
It’s not easy when faced with physical symptoms, but choosing to focus on feeling loved, accepted, and valued can elevate both our emotional and physical states. Our soul, operating at a higher frequency, can help our body reach that same elevated state. However, it’s challenging, especially when dealing with real symptoms and diagnoses. Encouraging one another and bearing each other’s burdens are crucial in these times.
Set our minds on things above
Paul advises us to set our minds on things above, on positive and good things, rather than on pain. This mindset can bring change to our situations. However, it’s not always simple, especially when in pain. Using medication to manage severe pain can help, allowing the mind to focus on higher things without the distraction of physical discomfort. Painkillers, even those derived from natural sources like poppies, can be part of the solution to managing pain, helping us to maintain a higher mindset.
Eastern practices show that the mind can transcend physical pain through strong focus and meditation, enabling practitioners to perform feats like lying on beds of nails. While not suggesting such practices, it illustrates the power of the mind over the body. Ideally, we would not have any pain, but learning to focus the mind through meditation can elevate our frequency and help manage pain more effectively.

Healing is an interesting topic because a lot of people are sick and need healing or something else, and they are praying for it. How do you do it?
God is my healer
My belief in healing and living in health goes back nearly 30 years. I wouldn’t do the things I did then because I was operating out of the revelation I had at the time. I did seek every Bible verse on healing, health, or wholeness, and I did confess it and tried to engage with it. However, the turning point in my journey was realising that God is my healer, Jehovah Rophe. It’s one of His names and part of His identity. Therefore, anything that contradicts that is not God’s desire.
This raises questions about why some people get healed and others don’t, and I can’t answer that unless God tells you something specific. It’s a complicated subject, not as simple as just believing that someone laying hands on you will heal you. While that can happen, people don’t always keep the healing because they haven’t dealt with the root cause. Practically, I wouldn’t do the same things now as I did then. I’ve come to the conclusion that health is my inheritance and that sickness has no part in me because I’m a child of God. I know how to use my authority as a child of God to ensure that I don’t get sick. My whole consciousness is geared towards health.
Beyond health to immortality
Moving beyond health, there’s immortality. If you live in health, there’s no reason to ever die unless you’ve finished your purpose here, in which case you could go directly to heaven like Elijah and Enoch. Jesus said, “Eat my flesh, drink my blood, and you won’t die,” referring to physical death. Although 2,000 years have passed since Jesus said that, and people still die, it’s because our minds need to be renewed to the truth and reality of that promise. The church teaches that death is a promotion to heaven, which is actually a covenant with death and not a good thing.
In terms of health theology, I believe God desires everyone to be in health, including everyone on the planet, not just Christians. Healing people who don’t know Him can be a good way to bring them to Him. Healing is a demonstration of God’s love and power.
Practically, people like Joe Dispenza support the idea that how we think and approach things influences our health. Quantum physics suggests that as a man observes, chooses and pictures reality, that reality will manifest if he’s not double-minded. The issue with healing is often double-mindedness: believing in healing but being preoccupied with symptoms. The faith movement advises not to deny symptoms but to recognise that they are not the ultimate truth. The truth will manifest to change symptoms, but you need to believe the truth, which is more relational with Jesus than merely ‘confessing the word’.
A gift from God
Faith is a gift from God to believe – in salvation; in healing, health and wholeness, which are all part of salvation. We are saved by grace through faith, which is a gift from God, not something we generate ourselves. We need a relationship with God to reveal Him as our healer, which would enable faith to manifest as our trust in God, rather than something we try to generate to get God to heal us.
So when we trust God as being good and wanting to bless us, and health as being part of our relationship with Him, that will enable us to accept that as truth. This will renew our minds, allowing us to believe and act on the truth rather than trying to find a way to do it. That being said, there are many people who are not in that place of being able to choose a reality, who don’t understand quantum physics, or who don’t have a deep relationship with God. They may not be close enough to Him to trust Him as their healer and the one who wants them to be blessed and highly favoured.
How do you work with that? To help people engage with the truth, you need to consider that God may use transitional ways to bring people into health or to receive healing and wholeness. This might include changing your diet, getting more exercise, using essential oils, Rife-generated frequencies, gem therapy, light therapy, or other methods generally based on frequency. Again, Joe Dispenza notes that our frequency influences our health. If our frequency is low, we are susceptible to ill health. If our frequency is high, living in rest, love, joy, and peace, then our body can be healthy. Understanding frequency is part of achieving health and wholeness, and therapies that use frequency can be effective.
Healing comes in different ways
Jesus used the word therapeuo for healing, which means therapy rather than miracle. Not every healing is a miracle that happens instantly; sometimes it is a process. We go through the process of trusting Him and listening to what He wants us to do. I’m not against therapeutic methods using frequency, as I believe that’s a revelation from God to help more people achieve health. There are new technologies, therapies and alternative treatments. I’m not against going to doctors if that’s what God wants you to do. If I were unconscious in a car accident, I’d be happy to be taken to a hospital until I could wake up and deal with it myself, perhaps even while my spirit is still functioning.
God wants everyone to be healthy. Sickness can come from various sources, such as genetic or generational issues. It’s important to seek God’s guidance on what you need to do to receive everything that belongs to you. A friend of mine, diagnosed with stage four cancer, refused to accept the prognosis and sought God’s guidance. She followed His instructions, took specific supplements, and used a BEMER machine (BioElectroMagnetic Energy Regulation) for circulation. Her blood markers, initially over 500, came down month by month to less than 30, until she was perfectly well.
Healing comes in different ways. We need to enter into a relationship with God to know His heart for us and trust Him to bring good into our lives, leading to whole health, wholeness and immortality. It’s okay to use whatever method God shows you. People laying hands on you is a biblical practice where they impart a frequency or energy. You can engage your faith with that frequency and direct it into people’s bodies. I’ve used my faith and choice gates to see people healed. However, I would want to equip people to understand health, not just to receive healing from others.

We need a process of restoration, and only God can restore us. We can meet God as our Father. We can have encounters with Him, and He wants to meet us in that way. But let’s go beyond just seeing it as an exercise.
I encourage you to think about it ahead of time and give God the opportunity to show you if there are any areas that need resolution.
Are there any unmet needs within you?
Are you still seeking affirmation from others, because you have not fully received it from the Father?
We will run into trouble if we keep seeking approval from others because they will inevitably let us down. Nobody is perfect. And then we might feel betrayed, wounded, and hurt, causing us to build walls around us.
There were times when I could be surrounded by people, even in a small group, and still feel alone; I would have my barriers up, protecting myself from getting hurt. Despite being in the presence of others, I felt isolated. But when those barriers finally came down and my wounds from my father and from betrayal were healed, suddenly I was free to be myself. I no longer had to compare myself to anyone else. I could embrace vulnerability, be open, and freely share.
Now I know that other people’s opinions and judgments do not define me: it is what God says about me that matters. I know how deeply He loves me. I know the beautiful things He has spoken over my life and the revelations He has given me. That is how I measure my worth and purpose.
So, let others say whatever they want, positive or negative, neither have any effect on me. I have learned to forgive and release people, especially when they are acting hurtfully. My identity and confidence come solely from God, my Heavenly Father, who has lovingly shaped me into who I am today.
So here is what I urge you to do: allow God to uncover any unresolved areas in your life. Maybe there are still some lingering scars that need healing and restoration. God cares for you more than you care about yourself, more than anyone else could possibly care about you.
He also wants to help you and to fulfil every need you have. He put those needs for acceptance, approval, affirmation, and significance in you because He wants to meet them. So if you are trying to find fulfilment for them from your spouse, friends, children, or anyone else, they will never be able to give you what God can give you. If you are seeking fulfilment elsewhere, you are looking in the wrong place.
Let Him reveal who you truly are and show you where you came from. Let Him take you back to that wonderful place of security within His embrace, where you can truly shine and understand your purpose in life. But beware: do not rush into chasing your purpose without truly knowing who you are. Otherwise, you can easily fall into the trap of striving and trying to discover your purpose through endless activity.
These are deep questions we all face. Take some time to let these things sink in. Find somewhere quiet where you are or go for a walk if you prefer. Give yourself that space now to ask the important questions: is there anything still unresolved in my relationship with God as Father, or in my relationships with my earthly father or others?
Key Takeaway

We were delighted to host internationally renowned speaker Kari Browning, teaching on this topic for the first time in the UK.
Toxic emotions are often the source of emotional pain, relational difficulties, and physical illness. By releasing toxic emotions you will come into a place of rest for your soul and health for your body.
The technique Kari uses to release toxic emotions involves prayer, the laying on of hands, and the use of therapeutic-grade essential oils.
The seminar ran on the evening of Friday 3rd August and the morning and afternoon of Saturday 4th August at the Freedom Centre, Barnstaple UK.

In this series of posts we are looking at new wine and new wineskins. Last time we saw how the new wineskin is each one of us, both individually and coming together as a new order ekklesia, but what is this new wine? What does it represent? Here is some of what I have seen (and if you will engage with God for yourself, I am sure you will see some of this and more besides):
New governmental mandates and new government patterned after heaven. New revelation and understanding of how to expand the kingdom, subdue and rule from a new heavenly perspective of servant leadership.
New values and ideals. Jesus introduced the manifesto of the kingdom, a completely new way of living. As we have seen, the ekklesia is to be a reflection of heaven’s values, an embassy of heaven on earth. We are to be ambassadors of that embassy, carrying the authority of heaven and exercising it on the earth.
New things established in heaven.
New heavenly strategies instead of earthly ones. Let’s stop trying to figure out how to do things and instead go to the heavenly strategy room and get a strategy which will be effective.
A new heavenly identity of sonship. It is in heaven that we operate in fullness of sonship, so that we can be manifested as sons on the earth.
A new health service – healing and health for the world, to demonstrate that God is a loving God who wants to heal. As a first step we will be living in health ourselves: body, soul and spirit in wholeness, connected to heaven, with the life of heaven flowing from the inside out. That will draw those in the world looking for healing.
New economic and financial services. Jesus threw all the money changers’ tables over: kingdom finance and economics bear no resemblance to the systems of the world. Kingdom finance is a love-based system in which we can freely give because we freely receive under an open heaven. Serving in love is the currency of the kingdom, going the extra mile and putting others before self.
A new society – paradise restored. God wants to bring back human society to how it would have developed in the Garden (if the Garden had expanded to fill the earth as it should have). The way up is down; the first will be last and the last first.
New speech, new attitudes, new ideals, new culture. Everything comes from a new perspective as redefined by Jesus.
New behaviours, abilities and powers. We will recover everything that was lost at the fall, at the flood, at Babel and throughout history as our DNA is renewed and restored and as we renew our minds.
Heaven transforming earth. This is God’s ultimate desire and plan.
Experiential
All new ways flow from beyond the veil and they are experiential.
New experiential ways of ministry. No longer will we set ourselves up as ministers who tell people what God is saying and what to do. Instead we will get alongside them and equip them to hear God for themselves. Liebusting is a good example of this new way, in which the person asks Jesus what He wants to do in their life and asks Him to show them how to deal with what stands in the way. And teaching people how to go to the courts equips them to hear first-hand, rather than getting someone else to tell them what the issue is and how to address it.
New experiential ways of teaching – we have to get away from a scenario where it is just me or some other teacher lecturing a roomful of people. It will be all of us together, experiencing. The activations we have done together on a Sunday morning and in some of the online sessions and events are a first step towards that. Alongside the new kingdom financial system, I am sure we will see a new education system as well.
New experiential ways of prayer. We will not just be crying out from here on the earth, hoping that God might hear something, but going to meet Him face to face.
New experiential ways of interceding, not from below but from above. We can stand before God, identifying with the person, city, nation or planet we are interceding for, in a heavenly courtroom, getting His judgment and verdict on the situation.
New more effective ways of kingdom administration: outworking heavenly government on the earth.
New ways of partnering with the angelic realm: angels are ministering spirits sent for the sake of those who inherit salvation. We are already hearing more testimonies of angelic engagement, and that will only increase. They are awesome, powerful created beings, and they can do things which have never even occurred to us yet!
Growing in maturity
The new ways are about our maturity. Moses did miracles, parted the Red Sea, food just appeared, the Israelites’ clothes never wore out, they were led by a pillar of cloud and fire – all this while they were just children who only knew God by His deeds. If they had gone and engaged heaven with Moses, they would not have needed any of that.
Under Joshua’s leadership, the people did the miracles, parted the Jordan, caused the walls of Jericho to fall. They did not need supernatural food or clothing provision because they could all sow in the Promised Land, and reap the harvest of what they sowed.
Jesus showed his disciples how to multiply food, do miracles, produce provision and so on. He taught them how, then sent them out to do it themselves. Unlike Moses, He did not just do it for them. And today He will show us new ways of being salt and light in our world, new ways of being agents of change in history, society and culture, so that we are not influenced but influencers. He will open up new ways for us to bring transformation to our communities. We will do all this by establishing all things in heaven first so they can be manifested on earth – that is the hallmark of the new.

When we first began looking at the different redemptive gifts that Paul lists in Romans 12:6-8, we saw that each had a colour associated with it. The colours have frequency and vibration that we resonate with in the spiritual realm. And we recognise that when the different coloured flags and banners are waving in our meetings, they open up particular spiritual connections.
But also associated with each gift are different primary areas of the soul:
Prophet – Red – Mind
Servant – Orange – Will
Teacher – Yellow – Mind
Exhorter – Green – Emotions
Giver – Blue – Mind
Ruler – Indigo – Will
Mercy – Violet – Emotions
The spirit/soul wheel
In this diagram the colours represent the gifts and are linked to the soul areas associated with them.
If we are looking to overcome the stronghold areas in our gift, we can use the complementary areas of the soul to do that. These are the areas next to our own gift, both clockwise and counter-clockwise on the wheel. So, for example, red is the prophet gift which operates primarily in the mind. To overcome the weaknesses in the prophet gift you need the servant gift’s soul area, the will, and the mercy gift’s soul area, the emotions.
The most effective way of achieving this in community is to get alongside people with complementary gifting/soul areas, because you will be able to provide a perspective that each of them needs as well as drawing on them yourself. You may even find yourselves naturally drawn together in relationship because you instinctively know that you need one another’s support and help. This is why it is so important for us to overcome any mutual suspicion or distrust of our differences and to honour God’s gifts in one another.
Follow the wheel around and you will see that each gifts needs the strengths of two other gifts.
How does this work? There are connections between the human spirit and the human soul. Each portion of the human spirit is connected to a portion of the human soul. So we need our spirit to engage with our soul to enable it to be led and directed into the things that God wants. A culture of honour and a dependence on each other (in a right sense) will enable each of us to be a fully functioning individual – and together to become a fully functioning body.
Calling forth
God wants to call forth our spirit, and to call forth those gifts in us, so that we will be able to function in the things He has called us to. Just as the Father spoke over Jesus He wants to speak over us as His children today. He wants to speak truth, to call forth His desires for us.
Let’s take a few moments to sense His presence: Father, Son and Holy Spirit speaking to our hearts, speaking to our spirits, calling forth those redemptive gifts of sonship which He has placed within us. Hear what God is speaking over us:
I call forth your identity as My child. I call forth your redemptive gifts. I call forth your identity as an overcomer and a conqueror. I call forth your ability to subdue and to rule your soul. I call you to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I release the gathering angels to expose and remove stumbling blocks and lawlessness from your life, to expose and remove demonic strongholds, to expose and remove iniquitous roots, to expose and remove birthright curses. I call you to surrender and trust Me. I call you to know your true identity, gift and destiny as My child.
God intends us to be part of bringing all creation back into His original intention and purpose, that of redeeming not only this planet but the whole cosmos. True, we are imperfect people, but if we are willing to surrender to Him then He can do that through us.
He is looking for the response of our hearts: for us to say ‘yes’, to draw closer to Him, to allow Him deeper into our hearts, to let the barriers down so that He can bring healing to some of those deep areas of hurt and pain which we have been carefully protecting. Let’s allow our spirits to worship Him in freedom, and to open up our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit, the angels and the presence of God to bring healing, wholeness and restoration.
Let’s come into agreement with Him, let’s realign ourselves back into who we really are, so that we can come into wholeness, into peace, into that place of rest. Not striving or struggling but enjoying the relationship with God that He designed us to have, walking with Him in the cool of the day in the garden of our hearts and in the garden of heaven, we can bring heaven to earth and see His kingdom come, manifested here on earth as it is in heaven.
